Blue Monday....

...Sky, that is! Also one of my favourite songs from one of the best bands of my youth.
Life has been pretty lovely and normal in my little world, Apart from a terribly sad funeral (are there any other types?), the sun has been shining on and off, and my garden is growing. I say "my" garden even though it's a joint effort. I point and say deck/gazebo/water feature and my lovely husband rolls up his sleeves, goes to the MAN SHED and comes out with gazillions of tools. Then produces something splendid, total hero! I plant and prune, tie-in and tweak, weed and water. A happy relationship.
In other news.... husband has been on several European work jollies, sorry, business trips. During the last one there was  a foul deed in the garden..........Sometime in the night murder most horrible was committed!!! The dawgs were howling, I was gripped with fear, luckily the victim was a pigeon. Huge bloody mess of feathers and "bits" scattered about, Yuck.
In better news, we are proud owners of a new-to-us aquarium. An ebay bargain that is proving to be very enjoyable, We have 4 (was 6, two went awol) neon tetras, Alan 1, Alan 2, Alan 3 and Alan 4, And three loaches which are all called Ken. They are soon to be joined by some more neighbours, once we get the water tested again. It's all very complicated, but husband, being a chemist, loves fiddling about with all the powders and potions that happy fish demand. I thought you just chucked food in every now and then, NO! BAD WIFE! It is a difficult thing for a  mere woman to understand (tongue firmly in cheek).
Well, that's me done, a Belgian bun is singing to me like a siren "Eat me Lisa, eat me, or I may become stale...".
I'll see thee.
